UCIS

The court case management system is developed as per the justice reform program of the Ethiopia Government. It is already implemented in the Addis Ababa Municipal courts, the Oromia Supreme Court, Tigrai Supreme Court, SNNPR Supreme Court, Somali Supreme Court, Harari Supreme Court.CCMS is implemented on the .Net Framework using Visual Studio .Net development tool.

COURT START FEATURES

Court Case Management System (CCMS), CourtStar, provides:

- Database that work in a networked environment using SQL server back end

- Detailed case information

- Adjournment information

- Daily court case hearing schedules

- Court case circulation management

- Search tools using different criteria

- Document management for such files as preliminary judge rulings, judge orders, decisions etc.

- Security features

- UNICODE based multi-lingual feature that enabled CCMS to work in the language of the various regions; i.e. Amharic, Oromifa, Tigirgna, Somaligna.

- Reports: over 150 statistical, daily reports, performance reports etc. for each court, bench, judge etc’s performance.
